This is a lovely post. I love the phrase, “the Gospel is the greatest renaissance of all time.”
How lucky we are to be part of it and yes, we do have an enormous obligation to take the light of the gospel to the world. Thank you for these thoughts and insights.

The Last Waltz was fabulous, How could there not be a sequel ?? I’m dying right now because I’m left with unfinished story!!!!! THERE MUST BE A SEQUEL !!!!

I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about this subject. When I look back on my life and see those pivotal “Crossroads” decision moments, I am amazed how much the spirit guided my choices, even though I didn’t always realize it at the time.

That is my prayer, too, Krista. Which book did you use that quote in? My husband’s new book, I Need Thee Every Hour, uses that scripture very movingly when tellling of a personal trial, so it means a lot to both of us.

Thank you for the perspective, GG. D&C 6:36 is one of my favorite scriptures (I even used it in a book). I hope the people of Haiti can feel some portion of hope and comfort.

G.G.–enjoyed your post and your candor. My dear friend is in a deep, chemical depression; she’s dealt with it for 20 years. I’ve been on the phone w/her lately for long periods of time.
